Civil Society and Climate Change 11th of March, 2008.

 Arish (3rd of March, 2008)

A seminar was hold on Climate Change by Regional Association Assemblies in Arish and lecturer there Mr. Abdullah El Hegawie (the general manager of environmental affairs by the governorate) as well, a film presented "The Terrified Reality" by Al Gore. Had attending the seminar many environmentalists, as well as, the same seminar is going to hold again in the Youth Center 6^th of October in 12^th of March, 2008. And the film had been copied and delivered for many sections including school.

Cairo: 27^th of February, 2008

The Egyptian Association for Comprehensive Development had a seminar on climate change's phenomenon, reasons – dangers, and suggestions for facing this phenomenon.

The counselor El Gendy (the previous attorney general) previewed the most important international legislations and conventions related to climate change. And Prof. Salaah Arafa (Professor of Physic in AUC) the possible hazards for this phenomenon.

Doc. Hassan Abu Bakr (the vice president of The Egyptian Program of Environmental Education) presented the dimension and hazards are related to this phenomenon and the needful directions for facing and adapting with phenomenon impacts in Egypt.

Alexandria: 26^th of January, 2008

Another opportunity to spread knowledge with the hazards of the case, Prof. Ahmad Mustafa (The president of the Cultural Committee of Sporting Club in Alexandria) preparing the meeting to discuss climate change issue in Egypt, and spreading meeting's actions in which the Center had prepared in Alexandria (8^th of December, 2007), as well, the meeting will hold on the next Monday (26^th of January, 2008).

Arish: 6^th of January, 2008

For keeping the knowledge campaign continuous which the Center hold, for climate change case and the impacts of it on Egypt which started on 29^th of November, 2007, a meeting had hold about climate change in the National North of Sinai Radio (6^th of January, 2008) in the open period from 7 p.m., and the guest of the episode Sawsan Hegab (the president of Woman Rights Association in the North of Sinai) with the announcer Shady Ebrahim, as well the meeting presented the summary of actions which Sawsan Hegab with Habi's Center in that issue, one of them professor Mustafa Tulba's paper, and Ain El Sukhna Declaration, and Al Gore's film "The Terrified Reality".

And for the importance of the issue, particularly Arish's beach, the meeting holds the next day with her too with the Radio and by phone of air for discussing the same issue, and the plan of the Association in the coming period.

The Charity Faith Association and Environment Protection in El Zaqa works on with participating The Ministry of Education and EEAA of Mansura for preparing and applying six environmental educational seminars on climate changes.
